Getting started takes less than a minute. Here's everything you need to know.
Before your meeting, class, or event — switch your phone to Silent Mode or Vibrate as you normally would. On iPhone, use the physical switch on the side. On Android, use the volume button or quick settings.
Tap the app icon. The main screen shows a large SILENCE TIMER button. Tap it to set your duration.

Use the quick presets — 10 min, 15 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, 8 hours, or 12 hours. Or use the slider for a custom duration. Need to silence until a specific time? Use the custom date/time picker.
The app shows your restore time on screen and in a persistent notification. On Android, your ringer restores automatically. On iPhone, you'll get a lock screen reminder when it's time.

Yes. Once you set the timer, you can close the app. The timer runs in the background and will restore your ringer (Android) or send you a reminder (iPhone) at the scheduled time.
Apple restricts apps from controlling the physical silent switch or audio stream levels — it's a system limitation that applies to all iPhone apps. This is why the iPhone version provides a reminder instead. The Android version has no such restriction and fully auto-restores.
No. Snooze My Ringer only silences your ringer and notification streams. Your music, media, and alarms are unaffected during the silence period (unless you specifically opt in to silence alarms via the optional toggle).
